To log in to your TP-link repeater device, you need to connect your computer to the LAN port of your TP link router by using Ethernet cable. After connecting, login to your tplinkrepeater net admin through the IP address listed on the label on the bottom of your TP link router. To continue the whole process go to network option and then go to LAN on the side menu and change the LAN IP address of your router which should be outside the main router DHCP range.
If the DHCP of your router is 192.168.2.100 – 192.168.2.199 then you can set the IP of the TP-link router to 192.168.2.X like 192.168.2.11. Once the IP address of LAN is changed, the router needs to be a reboot and it will ask you for your login details and new IP address.
After login in you need to go to wireless option and in that go to wireless settings to configure the network name which is SSID which is similar or different from your router and after that click on save button. To log in through tplinkrepeater net admin go to wireless security option in the wireless option to configure the security of the wireless router. The most secure option which is recommended is WPA or WPA2-Personal, and once you select the option click on save button to save the changes you have done.
Now go to DHCP and in DHCP go to DHCP settings and then select Disable the DHCP server and click on save button. Once you did all this through tplinkrepeater net admin, you need to reboot your device by going to system tools and selecting Reboot option. You need to use an Ethernet cable to connect the main router to your TP-Link router through their LAN ports and all the ports on the router will now access the internet on devices and you can now connect any Wi-Fi device to access the internet through your router by using the network name (SSID) and password (Network Key) to enjoy the internet on your any Wi-Fi device.
