How to login to the Login mydlink camera?
To login mydlink, you should login to mydlink portal first in order to access the advanced settings of your camera. You need to open a web browser and type http://au.mydlink.com in the address bar and after that, you will see a web portal of mydlink and now you need to enter the details so enter your mydlink account details followed by clicking on the sign in button. Once you have signed in you will see my devices option and my profile option which shows a list of devices on the left-hand side that is assigned to your account. They will show all the devices which are connected to your camera and you can change the settings of all of them once you are able to login mydlink of your camera. To get the access of advanced settings you need to select one of your camera from the left menu and then select the settings option at the top of the page and you will see the option of advanced settings button at the bottom of this page which will allow you to access the web interface for the camera and configure the advanced features that are not controllable by login mydlink. You may be asked to verify your identity again at this point, so you just need to click on ok button only and enter you mydlink account details.
After this, you will be prompted for a username and password, so always keep in mind that the default username will always be admin without the quotes and the password will be the one that was configured via the initial setup of your cloud cam but if you have forgotten your password you will need to factory reset the camera to continue the process. You can also refer a quick installation guide or manual which is provided to you with the box of your camera and once you get your password, enter it and click on ok button to proceed and once you have successfully logged in to your account, you will see all the advanced settings of your camera. There is an option of Motion detection on it, you click on it to bring up the configuration page and under the motion detection settings, you need to click on enable and then make selections in the squares on the image to monitor for motion. You can also configure the sensitivity of these marked locations to ensure that even the slightest change will trigger the motion detection alert. When you have configured this to your liking and all is done what you want then at the end click on save settings option at the top of the page to make the changes permanent and start working.
There is an email option available for you as well by whom you can get alerts or notifications of the detection alerts. You can click on mail option which is at the left-hand side menu to bring up the mail configuration page and under email account you will need to enter the detail of the email that you have entered for you are using to send an email via this account. Mostly the email accounts are POP accounts and are provided by your internet service provider. So, as you can see there are many options available in advance setting which can be very helpful to you to detect any motion and you will also get the snapshots of the motion which is detected by the camera on your email address that you will provide in the email section to receive notifications and alerts.
